2. Contact & Booking

When you contact us via form, email or phone, or when you make a booking, we collect the personal data you provide (e.g. name, email, phone number, travel dates) for the purpose of processing your request and fulfilling your booking.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures).

Bookings are processed via Lodgify (Codebay Solutions S.L., Spain). Lodgify acts as a data processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

3. Use of Cookies

Our website uses cookies to enhance user experience. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. You can configure your browser to inform you about cookie usage or to block cookies entirely. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of the website.

4. Server Log Files

When you visit our website, certain data is automatically collected by our hosting provider (e.g. IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, time of access). This data is used solely for technical monitoring and website security and is not combined with other data sources.

5. Third-Party Services & Embedded Content

We use third-party services such as Google Fonts, Google Maps, and embedded content from the Tourism Association Paznaun-Ischgl (e.g. webcams, weather widgets). These providers may collect your IP address. All content is integrated via secure SSL-encrypted connections.

6. Instagram Feed (Marketing)

Our website may use a plugin (e.g. via Juicer, SnapWidget, etc.) to display recent Instagram posts. This connects to third-party servers in the USA, and personal data (e.g. IP address, browser data) may be transmitted.
The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in marketing our accommodation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

7. Guest Registration (Legal Obligation)

In accordance with Austrian registration law (§ 5 Meldegesetz), you are required to register with us. The following data will be collected:

• First and last name

• Date of birth

• Gender

• Nationality

• Country of origin

• Address (including postal code)

• Type, number and issuer of travel document (for foreign guests)

• Arrival and departure dates

This data will be stored in a guest registration system and retained for 7 years as required by § 19 of the Registration Act Implementation Ordinance.
The processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.
Technical processing is handled by Feratel Media Technologies AG, Innsbruck (data processor).

8. Data Transfer to the Municipality & Tourism Association

For statistical and tax purposes (local tax), data such as arrival, departure and country of origin will be forwarded to the Municipality of Kappl and the Tourism Association Paznaun-Ischgl.
In addition, anonymised data (postal code, year of birth) may be transferred for tourism statistics.
This processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e and f GDPR (public interest and legitimate interests).

9. Guest Card

If you wish to use the guest card, the personal data from your registration (e.g. name, date of birth, length of stay) will be used to issue and manage the card.
Depending on the situation, the legal basis is:

• Your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), or

• Contract performance (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR)

The data will be used by the Tourism Association for billing purposes with local service providers. Data will be stored for a maximum of 48 months.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, transfer your data, revoke consent, and object to processing.
